Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Seedr service operated by Velvet Software LTD ("Seedr", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Eligibility to use the Service (including minimum age requirements) is set out in our Terms of Use.

1. About the Service

Seedr is a cloud file management and playback service operated by Velvet Software LTD. Users store files in their personal cloud account and access them from their devices.

2. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with applicable law and the rights of others. In particular, you may not use the Service to store, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:

1. Violates any applicable local, national, or international law;
2. Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code;
3. Is used to harass, threaten, defame, or violate the privacy of any person;
4. Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or incites violence, terrorism, or hate;
5. Infringes the copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any party;
6. Contains sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors.

3. Prohibited Activity

You may not:

1. Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service to third parties without written authorization;
2. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or connected systems;
3. Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service, including through denial-of-service attacks, excessive automated requests, or circumvention of rate limits;
4. Use automated means to create accounts, abuse free tiers, or evade billing;
5. Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial email, phishing attempts, or spam;
6. Use the Service in connection with gambling, fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.

4. Notices

If you are a rights holder and believe content on our Service is infringing, see our Copyright Policy for instructions on submitting a notice. We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate this policy.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@seedr.cc. Rights-holder notices should be directed to the agent listed in our Copyright Policy.

6. Enforcement

If we receive a credible report that this AUP has been violated, we will review it and take appropriate action. Depending on the severity, this may include:

1. Asking you to remove or change the content;
2. Removing content that clearly violates this AUP;
3. Suspending account access while we investigate;
4. Terminating accounts in cases of repeat or serious violations;
5. Cooperating with law enforcement when required by law.

Seedr is a private cloud storage service. We do not routinely access or review user content. We may, however, access content when reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, respond to abuse reports, or investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may take action with or without prior notice based on the circumstances.

7. Child Safety and CSAM

Seedr has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors. The presence of such material on our service violates this AUP and the law.

We reserve the right to deploy automated detection tools, including hash-matching against known CSAM databases, to identify such material on our infrastructure, and we may implement these tools at any time.

If CSAM is detected or reported on our service:

1. The content is removed immediately;
2. The account is terminated without notice;
3. The incident may be reported to relevant child safety organizations and law enforcement authorities in the applicable jurisdiction, in accordance with our legal obligations;
4. Account information may be preserved and disclosed to authorities as part of any investigation.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
